The South West is a great place for a holiday or break. Golden Square is in East Devon and there are plenty of local attractions both inland in the Blackdown Hills, which is a designated 'area of outstanding natural beauty', and on the Jurassic coast which is a 'UNESCO World Heritage site'. Listed below are a few of our favourite places to visit but there are many more for almost any interest, be it walking, cycling, sight seeing, or just relaxing on the beach.
We're also lucky enough to have some amazing places to eat out nearby. Just down the road is the local pub the Kings Arms, serving a great menu of locally sourced produce. Don't miss River Cottage in Axminster and Mark Hix's Hix Oyster and Fish House in Lyme, not to mention amazing local pubs including the Tuckers Arms in Dalwood and Cotley inn in Wambrook
